About the Authors

Ted Nichelson is a writer, musician, business entrepreneur, and pop-culture historian. He is an avid collector of Brady Bunch memorabilia, and is the author of the award winning website Complete Guide to the Brady Bunch Hour and designed the Official Geri Reischl Website. These interests were sparked by his friendship with Susan Olsen, who played Cindy Brady.
He earned a Doctor of Arts degree in harp performance and music education from Ball State University, and a Master of Music degree in harp from the University of Michigan. He also received a Bachelor of Music in harp from Illinois Wesleyan University and is a member of Pi Kappa Lambda, national music honorary society. Currently, he works full-time as a freelance harpist in Hollywood, California, and serves Los Angeles County and surrounding areas.
Nichelson’s skills in academic research were developed while studying music history at Illinois State University for a degree in musicology. Portions of his work have been published in the American Harp Journal, a scholarly publication. He has also served as editor and author on dozens of student publications and research projects.
He is also employed part-time as a property manager in Los Angeles, and works as a teacher in the Beverly Hills Unified School District.

Susan Olsen is internationally recognized for her role as Cindy Brady on The Brady Bunch. She is an actress, writer, artist, producer, radio personality and, most important, the mother of a wonderful teenage son.
She began her career as an entertainer in 1962 at the age of fourteen months, retiring from the business at the age of three. She returned to show business a couple years later when a talent scout picked her out of her kindergarten class to sing a song on The Pat Boone Show. She also appeared singing in an Elvis Presley movie. Various jobs finally led her to the role of Cindy on The Brady Bunch — a show that has been on the air for over forty years around the world. In fact, as you read this, it is probably on the air somewhere.
After The Brady Bunch ended, she became a successful graphic artist. Olsen worked for fashion designers and served as art director for a Malibu-based clothing company. She left there to start her own firm called Man In Space, and developed a line of glow in the dark sneakers for Converse Shoes.
Olsen has been a favorite guest on all the major talk shows including CNN’s Larry King Live and The Howard Stern Show. The huge response led to her own daily radio show following Stern on KLSX-Radio in Los Angeles with Ken Ober. In the middle of all this, Olsen created and was executive producer for The Brady Bunch Home Movies, a CBS prime time special. She most recently toured the country for three years as the national spokesperson for Migraine Awareness and serves as Director of Media and Special Projects for Precious Paws animal rescue.

Lisa Sutton began her professional career as a graphic designer and art director in the music business. She has designed hundreds of CD packages with artists ranging from George Lopez and the Dead Kennedys to the Monkees and David Cassidy. A pop-culture expert and officially credited "Bradyologist," Sutton also produced and wrote liner notes for many historical music packages, including the Grammy-nominated Have A Nice Decade box set for Rhino Entertainment and It's A Sunshine Day: The Best of the Brady Bunch for MCA.
Sutton served as segment producer on the RLTV daily talk show The Florence Henderson Show, and has been involved with several high-profile projects including A&E Biography, the Emmy-nominated Star Wars: The Legacy Revealed, Look Up In the Sky: The Story of Superman and the Emmy-winning TV Land Back-Stage Pass. 2008 marked the debut of her weekly "Collectiblog" for TVLand.com, a column dedicated to TV and pop culture memorabilia collecting. She is also the author of five chapters in the collaborative book Bubblegum Music is the Naked Truth (The Dark History of Prepubescent Pop, from the Banana Splits to Britney Spears).
